The ruins in Kirkjubøur are apparently falling apart,
so there is a huge project to restore it.
The roof and supporting structures are all temporary.
The intent is that it will look just like we
 are use to seeing it once they are done.
It is expected to take another year.

It confused us many times when we tried to
turn on the lights, but had forgotten about the slot!
